- 8 cups popped popcorn (2 microwave bags)
- 1/3 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup corn syrup
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp vanilla
- salt to taste
- Put popped popcorn into a large mixing bowl and set aside
- Put sugar and syrup in a large saucepan on med-high heat and bring to a boil
- Once boiling add in vanilla and baking soda. Boil for one minute.
- Pour mixture over popcorn and mix well
- Spread out on a sheet pan to cool and sprinkle with salt to taste
- Let cool and store in an airtight container
